“We build transformers that move our customers’ projects forward. That has been the standard since 1983, and it is the standard for the next 40 years.”
Our Story

Founded on a quieter, more efficient idea.

When most of the industry was still building conventional E-I laminated transformers, our founders made a focused bet: toroidal designs would deliver higher efficiency, lower magnetic fringing, and quieter operation for the applications that mattered most. 40+ years later, that bet has held up. Toroid Corporation supplies custom and standard magnetics to medical device manufacturers, industrial automation leaders, aerospace primes, broadcast engineers, and Fortune 100 OEMs across the industries we serve. We've grown from a single engineering and production facility in Salisbury, Maryland to a two-country manufacturing footprint, adding production capability in São José dos Pinhais, Paraná, Brazil to support our customers across the Americas. What hasn't changed is the standard: every transformer is designed, tested, and inspected to earn the trust of the engineer who specified it.

What We Stand For

Principles engineered into every unit we ship.

  1. 01

    Engineering first.

Our conversations start with engineers, not with sales people. Better problems produce better answers.

  2. 02

    Built to last.

A transformer built today should still be in service in thirty years. Our field failure rate proves it.

  3. 03

    Say what we'll do.

Clear specs. No surprises in the box. Our customers don't have time for guesswork.

  4. 04

    Own the outcome.

Our team handles every step from first integration; we stand behind what we ship, and we stay engaged until it works.
